(More customer reviews)UPDATE: The HDMI connection quit working. Apparently some of the pins were not connecting at all, so my DVD player would not work with my system. I checked every cable and connection, and narrowed it down to this one. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

It works for what I need, but the HDMI connector on the front does not fit perfectly with the HDMI cable I have. If the cable end is moved a little, the connection is lost. Since the plate is behind my wall mounted TV, I just made sure to set it up with the cable at an angle that works, and I haven't had any problems since. But for the trouble I went through to run the cable through the wall, I probably should have spent more on the wall plate.
The RCA connectors have the standard hex nut mounting from the back of the plate, and I took them out and replaced them with binding post/banana connectors to power my center speaker. It was very convenient that everything fit without drilling holes.
