With these kinds of players and screens, there is always going to be a preponderance of wires, so keep that in mind. If you don't care about all the wires hanging about the place, this is truly a neat product. DVD-playing capability is normal, nothing to distinguish from other players. What I really like is the presence of a 3.5mm AV in/out socket that allows other inputs into the players. This works excellent for me because if I want to watch something from my Internet-enabled phone (which has a 3.5mm AV out socket,) then I get to watch it on the 7" screen instead of the tiny phone screen. Extremely cool!
