(More customer reviews)I bought this primarily to help me with my job. It comes in handy when I'm reloading the OS on computers with broken CD/DVD drives, or on laptops that don't happen to have one. So far I've only run into one (very old) BIOS that didn't support the "boot from" option, and I can't fault the drive for that. The drive is very portable, and comes with a little dual USB plug, in case one conenctor doesnt supply enough amperage to operate the drive. There is also an external power supply plu, if you come up with your own transformer. I did not test the burning capabilities, but that is because my primary use for this is loading new systems.
