(More customer reviews)I love my Panasonic 500 watt system. I wanted to have a replacement for it when it dies. Surprised that only a few shelf top systems are being manufactured and wanting another 5 disc changer, I saw very negative reviews on RCA. The reviews for the upscale Sharp systems were positive except for the one listed here. I previously owned a Sharp large boom box with 5 CD changer. It finally wore out. The Sharp system buttons and display panel are not as well laid out as the Panasonic nor does it have the 3rd speaker on each side. But the sound is excellent-it has equalizer settings to increase/decrease the base. The 5 trays are stacked and do not require a noisy mechanical rotation. My only negative? comment is that some controls are only on the remote and not on the front panel and the wire FM antenna has to be stretched out. I have used the CD and tape drives heavily to test for defects before the warranty is up. I am considering buying a 2nd one to store for the future.
