(More customer reviews)This product does the job but the installation disc doesn't seem to install anything except adware and spyware. If you are using this with a netbook like I am you'll wish that the disc installed something useful like audio and video codecs, Direct X and a player that would play your cd's and dvd's. WMP wouldn't play any DVD that I placed in the drive. After a lot of searching via the internet I finally got the thing to work. I downloaded the VLC player and that seems to play any type of disc. Once installed I was bombarded with pop-up ads. Spyware Terminator found 6 types af ad and spyware. Some of them remained even after Spyware Terminator said they had been removed. I'm still trying to get rid of one of them. It does a good job of burning cd's and dvd's and this little portable LG looks good too. It actually deserves 4-5 stars for usage but all the malware drags it down to a 3 star review.
