The obvious signs included slow burning speed, and a progressively worse burn quality. After reviewing many option in Amazon, I picked this one and I'm certain it was a good choice.
The Drive arrived quickly, it was a perfect fit in my drive bay, and the computer recognized it instantly (plug and play). I was burning a test disk within 5 minutes of unpacking it, and it worked to perfection. Even the paint on it matches the paint on the computer almost exactly.
Great Product and at a much better price than the replacement unit from Dell.
