(More customer reviews)I bought this item to use with my Asus netbook, and it has been essentially a complete failure.
First of all, it requires more power to run it than the netbook supplies, so I end up plugging the power cord into my desktop PC and the USB output into the desktop.
So far not so bad.
The only problem is that I can only get it to run maybe 5% of the time. It's completely hit or miss. What should take a couple of minutes loading a program onto my netbook takes maybe 45 minutes or longer fiddling with it if I get it to work at all.
Save your money.
