(More customer reviews)I gort this as a replacement for the car power source that came with a pair of car DVD players. The DVD players were for my 5 and 2 year old so we move them back and forth between cars a lot. In the process of moving them and connecting and disconnecting the wires wear a lot so I needed a replacement when one plug started to short-out. One major thing to be aware of is that, despite the fact that this is a replacement for the factory provided power adapter, is that this adapter only powers one DVD player, while the factory provided adapter splits to power two. It's not a big issue, I prefer seperate adapters anyway, but it is something to be aware of. So far, this replacement works well, but it usually takes a while for the wires to wear so I'm not sure of durability yet.
